Prishtina, 05.06.2024 – The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, hosted in a meeting the representatives of KFW and AFD to discuss about cooperation on energy transition reforms in Kosovo.

During the meeting, discussions also covered reforms in electricity, efficiency, and the energy market, among other topics.

The reforms that the Ministry of Economy aims to implement by the first half of 2026 are being discussed based on a draft matrix prepared by consultants engaged by AFD. This matrix will enable direct budgetary support for projects in the energy sector.

Expressing gratitude to KFW for their ongoing support to Kosovo and their commitment to improving the energy sector, Minister Rizvanolli expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation with AFD.
