The Ministry of Economy announces that the Public Call for the Clean Energy Grant Scheme is open until January 31, so we invite you to apply as soon as possible

During this period, the Ministry of Economy has received a large number of questions from applicants. For this reason, we have prepared a document titled “Answers to the Most Frequently Asked Questions regarding the Clean Energy Grant Scheme”, which provides clear explanations on the application criteria and procedures.

Important clarification for battery systems: Since we have received the same question from several applicants, we inform you that:

Application for a subsidy for battery systems for storing electricity is allowed, even in cases where the applicant has an existing solar photovoltaic system, installed behind the meter or according to the rule for prosumers.

The subsidy is based on the installed capacity of the battery system, according to the technical configuration presented in the application. The call does not set a direct limit on the capacity (kWh) of the batteries and the limit applies only to the maximum value of the financial support, according to the conditions set out in the call.

Applicants are invited to consult the document which may assist them in preparing their application.
