Launching of the Cyber Hygiene Awareness Project for Students
Prishtina, 18.09.2024 – In a world where digital spaces are rapidly expanding and cyber threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated, awareness raising and education are more important than ever. This Project marks the beginning of a fundamental initiative for the Digital Security of students in schools across the Republic of Kosovo — an initiative specifically designed to enhance the knowledge and practices of digital security among internet users, particularly students aged 6–16 and educators in approximately 250 schools throughout the Republic of Kosovo.
The aim of this Project is to equip students with essential tools and knowledge to protect their digital lives, while the dedicated team will reach up to 15,000 students, providing 90-minute training sessions at each location.
This session will include a theoretical overview, practical demonstrations, and a Q&A segment to address any questions, deepening their understanding of cybersecurity.
Through the successful Kosovo Digital Economy (KODE) Project, the Ministry of Economy continues its efforts in raising awareness, developing, and promoting the Information and Communication Technology sector.
