Inauguration of Ulpiana Towers after Energy Efficiency Investments

Prishtina, 18.10.2022 – The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, together with the Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, Alice Albright, the Ambassador of the United States of America to Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier, as well as the Mayor of the Municipality of Prishtina, Përparim Rama, inaugurated the Efficiency Towers, which underwent investments for energy efficiency increase.

Minister Rizvanolli thanked CEO Albright, as well as Ambassador Hovenier for the continuous support of the United States of America to the energy sector in Kosovo.

In her opening speech, Minister Rizvanolli stated that increasing energy efficiency is a priority for the Government of the Republic of Kosovo in order to achieve long-term objectives and face the current energy crisis in Europe. Rizvanolli highlighted the measures through which the Ministry of Economy has subsidized efficient heating equipment for citizens, and informed that new similar measures will be opened soon.
