Prishtina, 24 February 2026 – The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has appointed Getoar Mjeku as First Deputy Minister of Economy.

Prime Minister Kurti extended his congratulations to Mr. Mjeku on assuming the post and wished him every success in the discharge of his duties.

Getoar Mjeku also held this position during the previous mandate, where he made a notable contribution to economic development and the advancement of sectoral policies.
