Prishtina, 18.07.2025 – The Caretaker Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, and the Rector of the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina”, Arben Hajrullahu, today distributed the certificates for the new energy auditors at the Center for Energy and Sustainability (CES).

On this occasion, Minister Rizvanolli said that this achievement is evidence of the serious efforts being made to strengthen our human resources in the field of energy efficiency, adding that these auditors will join the larger network of 318 certified auditors throughout Kosovo.

“Together with the University of Prishtina, namely the Center for Energy and Sustainability (CES), authorized by the Ministry of Economy several years ago and now transformed into a trusted address for professional trainings in this field of energy auditing. Foreseen with a clear mission in its regulation, the Center has played a key role in building domestic capacities and in preparing the experts needed by the market—and not only by the market but also by the state—since our policies in energy efficiency are very important and an important part of our Energy Strategy 2022-2031”, said the Minister.

Rector Hajrullahu praised the work done by CES in training the new auditors, while adding that Kosovo has potential for the development of renewable resources.

Meanwhile, Bedri Dragusha, Coordinator of Training for Energy Auditors, said that such trainings will be organized also in the future.
