Final information session on the Clean Energy Grant Scheme held

Prishtina, 22.01.2026 – The Ministry of Economy, in cooperation with KIESA and LuxDev, held the final information session for businesses and stakeholders regarding the Clean Energy Grant Scheme, which remains open until 31 January 2026.

The session provided businesses with detailed guidance on available support for investments in clean energy and energy efficiency measures, as well as on the application process for the grant scheme. The project, valued at €1,000,000, is funded by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and implemented by KIESA/MIET in partnership with the Ministry of Economy (MoE) and LuxDev, Luxembourg’s Development Cooperation Agency.

Business representatives expressed particular interest in understanding the procedures for applying for solar systems, energy storage batteries, and battery efficiency measures aimed at ensuring energy stability for their businesses.

The call targets micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as larger companies not benefiting from regulated electricity tariffs, whose primary or secondary activities involve production or processing.

The scheme comprises three key measures:

  • Solar systems and energy storage batteries
  • Energy efficiency improvements in business facilities
  • Equipment to reduce energy consumption in production lines

Financial support includes:

  • Up to €20,000 for individual measures
  • Up to €25,000 for combined measures

Beyond financial assistance, beneficiaries will gain access to capacity-building programs and technical support, ensuring sustainable and long-term investments.
