Prishtina, 09.10.2024 – Today, the Post of Kosovo marked the World Post Day with a ceremony honoring long-serving employees who have dedicated years of service to the Post of Kosovo.

The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, attended the ceremony, expressing her gratitude to the Post’s employees for their tireless work and reaffirming her support for the further development of the Post of Kosovo.

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of the Post of Kosovo, Nora Rraci, emphasized that World Post Day provides an opportunity to reflect on the importance of postal services and to express appreciation to all those who have worked tirelessly to support this service. “Today, we honor the contributions of those who have been part of our team for many years, and our gratitude goes to each of you for your dedication and professionalism”, she said.

On behalf of the Post’s employees, Farije Jashari, one of the most experienced staff members, shared her experiences from decades of work.

In the marking of World Post Day, long-serving employees who have contributed for decades during both the best and most challenging times of the Post were presented with acknowledgments and symbolic gifts as a sign of respect for their contribution. These employees are set to retire within the next 12 months.
