Minister Rizvanolli participates in the discussions on Climate and Energy Partnership Declaration between Kosovo and Germany

Prishtina, 07.05.2024 – Minister of Economy Artane Rizvanolli participated in a meeting organized by the German-Kosovar Economic Chamber (GKEC), attended by Deputy Ambassador of Germany to Kosovo, Matthias Conrad, and business representatives.

The event was part of meetings held within the Network 4 Clean Energy Businesses (N4CEB), where the importance of signing the Climate and Energy Partnership Declaration between Kosovo and Germany was discussed.

During the meeting, Minister Rizvanolli outlined the further steps the Government of the Republic of Kosovo will undertake in implementing this declaration.

Additionally, Minister Rizvanolli highlighted recent developments and achievements in the renewable energy sector, addressing challenges and the sector’s potential, and explained the opportunities that energy sector policies offer for private sector development.

Representatives from renewable energy companies, architecture, transportation, ESG consultants, logistics, and legal companies attended the meeting, and provided specific recommendations regarding priorities to be included in supporting the declaration.
