Prishtina, 06.03.2024 – Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, received in a meeting today the Ambassador of the European Union to Kosovo, Tomáš Szunyog.

Minister Rizvanolli and Ambassador Szunyog outlined the priorities and cooperation for the year 2024, with a focus primarily on the energy and mining sectors.

Minister Rizvanolli thanked Ambassador Szunyog for the continuous support and, in particular, for the study of locations with potential for renewable energy as well as for the emergency package in support of energy efficiency.

So far, through the EU energy package, the Ministry of Economy has supported: 19,355 beneficiary families and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, through 8.1 million euros already disbursed, while the remaining portion of applications is under review.
