The Fleet of Post of Kosovo enriched with 30 electric motorcycles
Prishtina, 28 September 2023 – The Post of Kosovo has enriched its fleet with 30 electric motorcycles, purchased from the enterprise’s budget, to enhance its delivery services to all its customers and contribute to environmental preservation in our country.
The Post of Kosovo has invested €202,000 in 59 electric motorcycles, with 30 of them to be utilized in urban areas and 29 in rural zones.
During the motorcycle handover ceremony, the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, congratulated the Post of Kosovo for this very good investment and stated that these motorcycles represent a continuation of investments to improve working conditions for postmen, following the provision of new bags and uniforms.
“We are working on improving working conditions for postmen, including new bags and uniforms, and now, new electric motorcycles, which will undoubtedly facilitate their work”, emphasized Rizvanolli and added that trust in the Post of Kosovo’s services is increasing as service quality is improving due to the collective efforts of the Board, the Chief Executive Officer, employees, and postmen. Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of the Post of Kosovo, Nora Rraci, stated that with this modern and environmentally friendly investment, significantly higher quality and faster delivery services will be provided to citizens.
She also thanked the Ministry of Economy and the Board of Directors for their continuous support to the Post of Kosovo, as well as the customers of the enterprise and its employees, and extended her best wishes for the postmen who will be using these motorcycles in their daily work.
