Prishtina, October 13, 2022 – All citizens who have applied to the Call for Energy Efficiency Subsidies of the Ministry of Economy, after receiving the confirmation of application on the e-Kosova platform, have the obligation to purchase the equipment in compliance with the technical criteria as specified in the Call for this subsidy.

The technical criteria are the following:

Heat pumps:
a. Performance/efficiency rate: minimum A++
b. Heat pump performance coefficient: 4.2 or higher
c. Seasonal performance coefficient: 3.2 or higher
d. Equipment performance certificate: CE

Additional clarification:
An equipment that has an energy efficiency rate of at least A++ is compatible with thermal performance of 4.2, respectively seasonal performance of 3.2.
Any equipment with energy efficiency rate of A++ meets the Call criteria.

Inverter heat pump:
a. The equipment must have an energy efficiency rate of at least A++
b. To meet one of the following criteria:
– Thermal performance 4.0
or
– The catalog of the equipment must indicate that it is an inverter.
c. Equipment performance certificate: CE

Additional clarification:
An equipment that has an energy efficiency rate of at least A++ is compatible with a thermal performance of 4.0.

Biomass boiler:
a. Certificate proving that the utilization rate is  80% at minimum (applies to boiler with pellets and briquettes)
b. Certificate proving that the utilization rate is  74% at minimum (valid only for the high-efficiency wood boiler)

Individual stove:
There is no technical criterion for individual wood stoves.

We inform you that the Ministry of Economy shall hold no responsibility in the event that the applicants for this subsidy have purchased equipment contrary to the technical criteria of the Call, and consequently have not  been qualified for the subsidy.
